Shuny Bee was in Los Angeles, California, during a short business trip for the promotion as well as for the US distribution of his movie "Gorkah Protector". He met up with a number of entertainment personals including Mr. Mark Christiansen who is the Vice President of Paramount Pictures.
The Hollywood distributors who have gone through the movie are hopeful that the English dub version of the movie is sure to draw the attention of the western audience and are optimistic for a good business.
Through this movie, Shuny Bee hopes to bring the first ever Nepali movie into the limelight of international show business. "It is my pride", he says "to introduce the art and culture of Nepal through the movie".
During the same time he visited Inosanto Academy of Martial Arts to experience the art and philosophy of Guro Dan Inosanto, the very first student and friend of Bruce Lee. At the same time he attended the Seminar held by Guro Dan and Sifu Francisco Fong at the academy.
In his conversation with Guro Dan, Shuny shared many insights about the Gorkha warriors and was surprised to find out that Guro Dan has a vast knowledge about the Gorkhas as well. GURO Dan recalls his trip to HONG KONG with Burce Lee in 1972 where they went to visit the British camp. There was various regiments and among them were the Gorkha's. When Guro Dan asked who they were, Bruce Lee said that they were the Gorkha's - the British finest warriors. When Shuny Bee heard this it gave him great pride to know that such legends of martial arts knew so much about the Gorkha's.
Guro Dan widened his horizons regarding martial arts in such a short period of time and made a huge impact on Shuny Bee. He has acquired great respect for the Legend of martial arts, Guro Dan Inosanto.
